Our first studio visit is to Colorado where artist Laurie McBride creates beautiful watercolors.
Laurie studied
art
at
Stanford University and many years with Anstis Lundy, where her great
love
of watercolor began.
She lived and
studied
in Paris for a year where she was mentored by
her
godmother artist
Marion Pike.
She lives on a beautiful cattle ranch in Old Snowmass
where
she paints in her studio
overlooking her
inspirational garden.
Her animals are inspired by travels to Kenya and her dedication and service to the World Wildlife Fund.
